A fair question to ask of any company that says it will meet your mother at an airport at two in the morning.
The operator
CelebAssistance is operated by Elite World Services Limited, which has run airport assistance in India since 2020. The same company runs the desks, holds the airport authorisations and issues the GST invoice. It is one business with several front doors, and this is one of them.
Not a marketplace
We are not an app that takes your booking and forwards it to whoever is cheapest that morning. The teams at these 20 airports are contracted, uniformed and briefed, and the person who meets you works to our instructions.
What we will not tell you
We do not claim to skip immigration where no fast-track lane exists, because immigration is run by the Bureau of Immigration and nobody can make an officer go faster. We do not promise a buggy at airports that do not operate one. We do not name the greeter in advance, because staff rosters change on the day and a name that does not turn up is worse than no name at all.
The reason to say all this on an About page is simple: every one of those claims is made somewhere in this industry, and the ones making them cannot keep them.
Why a separate brand
The same service is sold by this company under other names to corporate travel desks and to frequent flyers. CelebAssistance exists because a large number of people assume an escort through an airport is something arranged for other people — famous, wealthy or important ones — and never look up the price. It is published here, and it is lower than most of them guess.
